Brandi Colkitt Celebration of Life arrangements and Needs by family‏

Hi Everyone

Thank you for your outpouring of empathy and sympathy during this very difficult time for us here. Our hearts go out to all of you as you are all suffering a great loss as well.... Be gentle with yourselves......

Brandi's Celebration of her Life ceremony information:

Date: Sunday June 28th (evidently this is hoop fest weekend)

Time: 1:00 pm to 3:30 pm

Where: Center Place: 2426 N Discovery Place, Spokane Valley WA 99216 509-688-0300
Center Place is next door to the YMCA in the Valley, you can get there by taking Pines Rd off of I-90 North to Indiana or Evergreen off of I-90 North to Indiana. (it is near the Spokane Valley Mall) you can map quest directions if necessary.

We will do her "Celebration of Life memoriam" between 1-2 and then have food and socialization time afterwards.

Brandi will be cremated and will have some of her ashes laid to rest at the Pines Cemetery E-5 lot off road 6. She will be right next to her dear friend Crystal who passed from cancer 5 years ago. I share this in case it is helpful for you to have a place to go to and visit her. It is located off of 16th Street and Pines Road in the Valley. It will take us a couple weeks to lay her to rest there I am sure but she would love you to visit if that helps you.

Talking at the Event: Keith and I would love anyone who wants to share a story or loving words about Brandi to have an opportunity. If you know in advance you want time to share let me now and we will get you on the "list" if you don't know it is ok, as we will have an open mic part of the celebration for you to get up if you are able and share your words with us. No worries it is all perfect regardless. Since this could be a lot of you we ask that we try to stay within a reasonable time frame. Thank you and we are so excited to hear what you have to share about Brandi. :)

Photos: I am still requesting photos, actual printed copies by Monday am as there will be a Video of her life and I don't want to miss anything or anyone in the video. Please drop them at my home at the front door if I am not home.. 2316 S Meadowview Rd., Greenacres WA 99216... thank you

Helpers Needed:

Food and Set Up: Arline Whitney is in charge of the Set Up and Food part of this day. Her e-mail is 1arwhitney@comcast.net if you want to help in set up or bring food, drink, etc. she has a list to fill so please contact her and she will put you to great use... and thank you in advance for your help and support.

Moderator: Keith and I are looking for someone to Moderate the day... introduce people and keep us moving forward. We will give you the "itinerary" for the day but need help in getting it done in a loving way and time frame. If people want to share but can't and have written their thoughts we would ask that you read them for them.

Music/Tech: We are in need of someone to help with the video set up, music all the equipment is there you just have to know when to start it and end it and help with the music set up during the background for the social time etc.

Thank you all in advance for making this the most special day and honoring Brandi this day. We appreciate all of you and honor all of you. Blessings to you all and remember to take care of yourselves and thank you again for holding us and Brandi in your hearts and hands all this time.
