I missed the opportunity to see Brandi, Kathy, and Keith this past year when they came to California to see my mother. I knew at the time Brandi was suffering from headaches and my mom as their family chiropractor was assisting and treating Brandi. A few months later, right as Brandi was diagnosed - my mother passed. I regret that I missed my last opportunity to see Brandi.
I knew Brandi when I think I was in Junior high/high school. I was a good looking young man, and I was Brandi's crush for many years. My mom and Kathy were very close and we saw each other often - and at the time I was mainly "too cool for school" - and looked at Brandi mostly as a little sister.
Though I did not get a chance to see Brandi come into her own and grow into the young woman she became - but if her family is any indication - she was truly remarkable far beyond any measure.
Kathy and Keith my hearts go out to you.
May this place comfort you among the mourners of Zion and Jerusalem.
